Dodgers Still After Lilly

The Dodgers have continued talks with the Cubs this week to acquire pitcher Ted Lilly, baseball sources confirmed. Lilly, who came up through the Dodgers farm system, also played for manager Joe Torre with the Yankees. He’s been on the Dodgers’ short list of targeted starting pitchers all month.

Fox Sports reports the talks also include Cubs infielder Ryan Theriot. – Ken Gurnick
