11/10 Fukudome for Matsuzaka?

The Chicago Tribune’s Phil Rogers tweeted that the Cubs are kicking around the idea of swapping Daisuke Matsuzaka and Kosuke Fukudome in a multi-player deal. The Cubs would like to move Fukudome to create an opening for Tyler Colvin in right field but such a deal with the Red Sox is unlikely. Matsuzaka has a full no-trade clause, and is owed $10 million each of the next two seasons. Fukudome, who set a career high with 13 home runs this season, has one year remaining on his contract, worth $13.5 million. Matsuzaka was 9-6 with a 4.69 ERA in 25 starts with the Red Sox.
