Kuroda Scouted Tonight
Although the Dodgers haven’t said Hiroki Kuroda is available and the right-hander hasn’t said he’ll waive his no-trade clause, a long list of clubs that have “expressed interest” are expected to scout his start Saturday night against Arizona. Despite 10 losses, the hard-luck Kuroda has an ERA of 3.06 and a resume that includes big-game efforts in a pennant race and the post-season. A free agent after this season, Kuroda won’t be given away by the Dodgers, who need Major League ready players in return.– Ken Gurnick
