* FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal says the Reds’ Trade Deadline plans remain something of an enigma, but a top of the order bat or run producer – or both — are on Cincinnati’s radar.
But a bat may not be the only object of the Reds’ desire. FOX Sports’ John Paul Morosi tweeted that Cincinnati recently scouted Mariners starters Jason Vargas and Doug Fister when the Mariners were in Toronto.
