Report: Sandoval left money on the table

As we wait for the Pablo Sandoval deal to be made official — the Red Sox have scheduled a press conference for this afternoon — CBSSports.com‘s Jon Heyman tweeted out some more details about the contract this morning.

Heyman says that Sandoval and the Red Sox have terms for a five-year contract worth $95 million plus a club option for a sixth year. He also wrote that Sandoval “could have gotten more” with the Padres or the Giants.

The Sandoval presser can be streamed live on MLB.com and RedSox.com at 1 p.m. ET.

HE WILL BE SORRY WHEN THE RED SOX WIND UP IN LAST PLACE, WHICH THEY WILL. HE LEFT A REAL WINNING TEAM TO JOIN A TEAM OF LOSERS. I WILL BE THE ONE LAUGHING WHEN THE MIGHTY RED SOX CRAP OUT AND DIE. TAKE THAT, PANDA MAN, YOU STUPID FOOL.

HE IS STILL A TOTAL MORON, A FOOL, A JACKASS, A HORSES ASS, AND THAT IS JUST FOR STARTERS

After California taxes he would make less.
